Rigging Capabilities

Experience - Expertise - Equipment - People

When you hire ARS, you’re getting experts in the field, and we put our skills to work to carefully prepare for your show.  With superfast turnarounds on project estimating and serious drafting capabilities we can and will respond quickly to your RFQ.  We have all the rigging inventory you need. No really, we have everything needed to do any type of entertainment rigging project. We have been building and investing in our inventory for 25 plus years and yes we even have the hard to come by gear: long chains, circular truss, 2-tons, wedges and widgets to make it happen.

We’ve worked on everything from tours and one off corporate events to festivals and massive sporting events. What have we learned in 25 years of doing this? That everything needs to be carefully planned and executed from beginning to end. Working with ARS means consolidating all of the rigging elements under one management umbrella.

Our in-house team of professionals can work with your vendors to manage the show and take the lead to collect all the information needed. We regularly produce comprehensive rigging plots with all the weights, airspace conflicts and connections resolved before we arrive on site.  We submit complete rigging plans for engineering review and have worked with most venues and their engineering firms across the country.

Once completed, we create an installation scheme including all the necessary rigging equipment and local labor needed for the job. We include all the control and cable paths, and look at sequence to ensure a smooth load in. Once the gear is sorted, we assign one of our fully-vetted, insured lead riggers and crew to get the job done.

Our rigging knowledge is extensive, and over the years we’ve learned how important it is for a crew to have the right chemistry. Personality conflicts can impact the success of a show. There’s a reason ARS has been honored with the Parelli Award’s “Rigging Company of the Year” 14 times in our company’s history. We’re good at what we do and we’re consistent in how we do it.

While we work on some of the biggest events across the nation, partnering with ARS doesn’t mean getting treated like just another gig. We know your job is the most important and we’re excited you brought us on board.  You’re in the wrong place if you want a Jack of all trades, but if you want the best in rigging and automation, you’re right where you need to be.

Final Four Championship 2019

Venue

U.S. Bank Stadium,
Minneapolis, MN

Challenge

ARS was contacted by U.S. Bank stadium to provide rigging services for the upcoming Final Four college basketball tournament. At almost 300’ to the non-symmetrical roof steel and a grid trim requirement of 100 plus feet, Team ARS got to work. The specs required ARS to provide an engineered and approved design and installation plan, in advance. All rigging equipment including an 80’ x 80’ octagonal grid to service other vendors and also, 3- 20″ circular trusses at 80’, 60’ and a 35’ OD, a fall protection system, with a team of six ARS rigging supervisors including rope access techs and local labor needs for the installation and dismantle of the scoreboard, transformers and audio for the event. All of which required ARS to produce a schedule of milestones for other vendors to base their load in/out schedules around. Here is a few shots of our job from design to game day.
